By knowing that it does have an end. Think of how no one emotion can last forever. You can get through this and there is a way out. The thing with depression is that, its hard to see that light at the end of the tunnel, that everyone else sees. Its just hard to understand. But that doesn't mean you can not find it. You have to find the will and strength inside you to say that you are not going to feel this way anyone. This does not define you. It is only the beginning.

Take it one day at a time. Try to focus on the good things that happen to you, and keep a diary of things that make you happy.

First off for some of us it doesn't have an end. For people like me it is genetic and it will always be there. I didn't even know that happiness was a real thing until i started taking medication about 5 years ago. Before that I honestly thought that happiness was a lie that people told me about just to make the pain of depression worse. Sadly the meds stopped working and after cycling through a dozen different prescriptions over the course of 4 years, until nothing works anymore, I'm back to living with depression. Fortunately for most people therapy and medications can work and can solve the problem, but the trick is you have to fight and fight hard. As embarrassing as being labeled with depression and feeling weak may be watching depression take everything from you is worse. Depression is a liar. It will tell you you are broken stupid and worthless. Recognize that thinking and consciously make the choice to manipulate it. For some you might be able to just call it a liar and ignore it, but if you are like me you will have to trick it. When it tells you you are stupid agree with it and tell it you are so stupid that you need to go to a doctor. When it tells you you will fail tell it you want to try harder so you can fail harder and make it hurt more. As crazy as this sounds if you have the relentless kind of depression i do your depression will motivate you to get it done. It's not pleasantly mind you, but watching this monster that has been ruining your life clean your house and get stuff done it can be genuinely satisfying. Which is about as close as someone like me gets to being happy while not medicated.

Depression is a kind of act that people do when they're in a kind of problem that these people cannot handle well. If Depression is caused by problems occurring that is/are too difficult to face, then depression must has an end. because problems itself has an end, so I would say, depression too, has an end. ending the problem could just end the depression

It doesn't always, but most of the time/for most people it does. And it's hard to see a way out, a brighter future, a better life after depression, because depression clouds your mind with darkness and hopelessness. But you have to believe that you deserve a happier life and that it will get better in time.

Huum...that's a really hard one to answer ...i guess i would just say that everything has an end. Good or bad, nothing lasts forever. We are humans, we we're made to just come up with new and better ways to deal with our bad situations. As far as depression goes, i would say that once you decide that you don't want to be depressed anymore it's really just a matter of time and support until one day, you won't even remember what it was like to suffer from it.

Depression is just a long tunnel. A tunnel always has an end. If you think it doesn't, then it's just a longer one than expected.
