chemically, you mean substance right? First the chemical you use should be put in a place where you cannot see or hidden. if it possible you can throw it away and think of it as not helpful as you think. It is in your mind if you help yourself and willing you can easily do this if not talk to me if you can :)

You can stop chemically self harming yourself by stop dumping things on your skin related to beauty products or cleaning products. If you are a person who like to bleach, and dye your hair you should stop purchasing those materials, you are harming your hair. Another thing is nail polish, if you are a person who also likes to paint your nails you can discard those materials too, we also use nail polish remover and that can also affect our skin. Our skin absorbs those chemicals. Plus, another thing is don't drink beverages such as alcohol. Try to stay healthy by eating healthy and exercising. I hope this helps!

You have to want to stop before you can actually stop. Self-harm isnt something you should do though, think of the possible outcomes.

The first step is admitting the problem. The second step is to seek help. Talk to a family member, such as a mother or father if you're underage and ask them to take you to a specialist. That is where you learn how to cope with your feelings and burdens. There are of course short term methods you can look up, but they'll never end the problem.

This can be difficult to stop however the best way to overcome this is to find out what is triggering the self harm. When this has been found and you can identify the thoughts of when you may self harm you should try and distract yourself with hobbies you enjoy. This will be difficult and will take time. Take one day at a time and you can overcome this.

by taking the time to understand that it really does do more harm to you than good, it gives you more scars to look at which gradually brings you to your lowest points, your recovery journey is very important so you should act maturely and considerably. its in your best interest, so that you can pursue your dreams and goals, its never too late to put an end to our bad habits remember that. sometimes it becomes hard for us to understand this but, becoming lest reliant on others also helps.. since it gives you strength to do things on your own
