There are many ways to volunteer resources such as old clothes, time and.or money. There is almost always some sort of charity group in every area but if there isn't, raising awareness for a cause is a great way to help them. On a day to day basis there are things you can do if you want to help a specific person who is having financial difficulties, whether it's helping them find a job or even giving them something to do, hiring them. As the recipient of charity I can tell you that the feeling isn't great when someone just hands you something out of pity, many people are hungry for the opportunity to earn the money through hard work.
