being a listener here is one way to help. another may be to see what kind of things their country is in need of, and organize a "drive" to help them get what is needed. it really just depends on what you are wanting to do.

English is kind of a global language, for example, i'm Brazilian and still help people from allover the world here.
I think that our group needs more foreigners like me, so that we can communicate better with members in their own langues :p

To help people in other countries it is important to be aware of their culture. What may seem unacceptable in our own culture may not be unacceptable in theirs. It is very important to be respectful and really listen to what they are saying and constantly ask for clarification if you are unsure. It is helpful to remember that no matter what their culture, religion or personal beliefs, people are hurting and reaching out to be lifted up and listened to., that is how we can help. :-)
