I have struggled a lot with this but the best method for me was to walk around with a timer and stick to my schedule---its all about being consistent and following your structure to a T. if you see something takes longer than anticipated you account for it in your scheduling and do not give yourself unlimited time to finish it. Set deadlines and end times and the most important thing is your night routine

By focusing on every little excuse to be happy. The fight against our problems begins inside us and I want to realize that it's okay to fail sometimes, as long as I keep trying to get back up.

After becoming stuck in a rut and avoiding my responsibilities, housework etc. I was given the best advice from a SGT serving in the armed forces. He told me to make my bed every morning without fail. Just accomplishing this one small task would set me up for the day and I became so much more proactive. I would also set up my coffee mug ready for the morning as an incentive to get up and go. I do still create a list for the following day as ticking each item off seems to give me a little boost.

Make lists of things to get done for the day and organize by priority and how okay you feel. On bad days it may only be to drink water and take a shower. But on good days try to get what you can done based on priority. Listen to music if you need to. Set small goals and reward yourself when you can. Don’t get discouraged. If you need to, set alarms on your phone so you can make a habit of doing things at the same time every day. You got this! I believe in you. Take care.

Everyday is different because our mood and level of motivation changes daily. Taking it one day at a time can be a great way to start and not overwhelm yourself. By taking it one day at a time and addressing how you truly feel that day is personal and can only be determined by yourself. A good saying to live by is “positive vibesâ€. Starting your day with a positive attune can be very beneficial to your mindset. If you start the day with negativity you are not setting yourself up with the right path for that day. Take it one step at a time.
