Break the day down into the smallest parts. Set goals for the next minute and the next hour. If you get overwhelmed easily don't think too broadly about what needs to be done by the end of the day. Simply set milestones for tasks that will help accomplish that goal. Allow yourself rewards in the form of forgiveness, breaks or positive thoughts when you accomplish a goal.
Try not to procrastinate. This will cause more stress in the long term. Set timers if you need. If concentration is an issue, practice focusing two minutes at a time at first, then 5 or 10. Try opening or closing your day by writing a journal entry.

One strategy I have use, is called: “kaizenâ€.
This can be translated from the Japanese to: “small and constant improvementsâ€.
The basic idea is to take small steps, every day; breaking a challenge into smaller simpler tasks; the most relevant aspect of this form of coping with difficult issues is that you are giving yourself permission of not doing a lot of things, you are giving yourself permission of not being perfect, you are doing what you can in the best way that you can, right now!.
The weight of our own expectations can crush you, make you feel like you are not doing enough, not fast enough, not longer enough or you can think you just are not enough.
Sometimes you would feel like the most impressive thing you can accomplish is to get out of bed and make coffee, maybe you need half and hour just to convince yourself that your body is not going to break if you get up. The main point here is: TAKE SMALL STEPS.
You can repeat this like a mantra:
â€you have enoughâ€
“you do enoughâ€
“you are enoughâ€
Maybe one day the only thing you can do is log into 7 cups of tea and that is enough…for today.

Make it more interesting. Change a few things, add a few things, get rid of a few things. Sometimes it's hard to get through because it's always the same old routine.

Get a personal organiser book, where you can add to do list, what to do every week as for a plan, write down your schedule so that at least you have some days for yourself to rest instead of working a pile.

Set yourself small goals - from one to ten, one being easiest. Start with one, and do things in stages :) say, I'll just do this and then I'll reward myself with this.

Getting through your day to day routine is something you can do step-by-step. Begin with the first thing, allow yourself the care and patience to get through it, and then move on to the next. Perhaps making a list to be able to delineate your progress will be helpful. Either way, just breathe through it. You can do it.

It really depends on why you're having trouble with not getting through it.
If it's that you don't feel able to cope, and that's a feeling that occurs daily then something in your life needs to change.
If it's a matter of organization, try writing out a loose schedule or using an app to organise a daily 'to do' list. I really like habitica.com for that.

Read emails carefully and open the snail mail even if you don't want to. It's looking under the rocks where there is stuff you don't want to see, but you have to do it anyway so you can enjoy the rest of your day.

Find time within your day-to-day routine to sit down and relax. Think on things you'd like to change or if something's bothering you.
