Send messages to a few different Listeners at one time with the time slot you need and see how many get back to you saying it works with their schedules. It may take a while before you get someone who can be there when you're available, and sometimes life events will cause that person to not be available, but you'll eventually get a person that you can set a routine with.

What I do is I go online at the time when I usually need help. So if I want help every Monday and Thursday at 8pm then I get online Monday 8pm. Find a listener with a green button next to their name and start up a conversation. If you like them, ask them if you can message them again the next week.

Search around for some listeners. Send them a message asking if they will be available for scheduled discussions. It may take a couple tries but we're all here to help. :)

Have a look at listener profiles, maybe there's someone whose comments resonate with you. Also check their schedule to see if they regularly give times they are available. You could ask a particular listener as well, if they'd be available for a period of time, say half an hour to an hour, every few days to talk. :-)

Well, aside from filtering search results, there are 4 things you can do that have varying degrees of effort needed. First is to make a forum post stating that you're looking for one. It's easy because all you have to do is post it and wait for listeners to approach you. The disadvantage is that you have to rely on them to find your post, and this can take a very long time. Second is slightly harder, but it's also in the forums. What you can do is to interact in the forums as usual, while plugging that you're looking for a listener. Just be tactful about it. You can comment on posts that seek advice and go, "Me, too. I'm actually looking for a listener whom I can talk to about this, among other topics." Or, if it's hard to tie in your comment to your listener ad, simply make the ad smaller in size. The third is the same as the second, except that instead of interacting as usual, you're putting yourself out there, answering as many as you can. Again, tact is needed. Finally, you can also be scientific. There's no writing and commenting involved, just a lot of consistency. Simply pick a time slot in a day (best if more than 30 minutes) and screenshot the listeners who are online. Do this every day for a week or so and see if any patterns emerge. If you see someone online 3 days in a row, ask them if they can talk to you regularly. As a bonus tip, you can also apply the fourth for more specific searches. If a certain topic matters to you, you can screenshot the filtered search results for a week or so, too.
