For the past few days I have been waking up with a crippling kind of depression. I used to have anxiety about the future but this is new. How do I manage this?

I believe you can manage this by Slowing yourself down a bit, sit down in the morning sip some warm water, do some light meditation. During the day set small achievable goals and work towards them, note down your improvements, it will give you a sense of fulfillment. Check the amount if exposure you have to the sun as it helps in serotonin release, Interact with people from your family. Practice being grateful for what you have done till now, list it down writing things down helps reinforce them. Be compassionate to yourself because you are at the end of the day only a human and you are allowed to make mistakes.
