Yes, of course you do. Just because you are privileged it doesn't mean you can't feel depressed. There are lots of fantastic listeners you could talk to about these feelings.

Everyone can feel depressed, and for different reasons. There is no "ladder of misfortune". Of course, no one will react the same way. Some people will feel depressed because they failed a class in school, others because somebody they liked died. But we shouldn't judge why people are depressed.

Yes you have the right to feel depressed, happy, sad, mad etc. because you are entitled to your feelings. Therefore it is a universal human right to express your emotions in a polite way if it is possible depending on the conditions/circumstances. Best of luck :)

Yes. Mental illness does not care about your situation in life. It's not your fault, so don't feel guilty.

Everyone has the right to feel depressed despite of your upbringing. To assume otherwise is to be ignorant to other people's problems. Everyone has problems, everyone's tolerance levels are different.

Yes anyone can get depressed. Privileged people, not so privileged people, people with different back grounds, even young children can be depressed.

Absolutely. Privilege's purpose is to make people realize they have certain advantages over others in specific areas. But it absolutely doesn't mean your problems are irrelevant. Pain is pain. Unfortunately, it can happen to anyone, regardless of things like socioeconomic status.

Privilege doesn't matter to depression. Some people might say if you have a lot of things and you're privileged than you can't be depressed. That simply isn't true. Depression isn't a right and it will effect anyone no matter what race or status you hold. I hope you feel better soon. Take care

Everyone has the right to feel depressed even if they are privileged. Everyone's sadness, whether privileged or not, whether rich or poor, Black or White, young or old, regardless of all of that, everyone's experiences of depression are equally real and equally valid

I believe sadness and depressed is entirely subjective. By this I mean if you feel depressed then you are depressed. A person can't look at another and claim that they are depressed. A person can experience this sadness despite the fact they're privileged and of course they have a right to. Depression does not discriminate.
