Yes. Just because you're privileged, doesn't mean that we can't be depressed. We all have a right to help.

Depression does not pick and chose whom to affect; feeling depressed, many times, it is beyond the control of external factors (like being "privileged").

It's not about whether you have the right to feel depressed. It's not your fault or choice that you feel the way you do. Depression is a condition people go through regardless of how 'privileged' they are. Pain is a subjective experience, and your pain cannot and should not be compared to other people's pain. There're always people who have it worse than you. And there are also people who have it better than you. But that doesn't matter when it comes to feeling depressed. Your feelings of depression are valid. They make sense. You make sense. There's no shame in feeling depressed, a lot of people have been there. So be gentle with yourself, and get the help and support you need and deserve

Everyone has the right to feel sad or depressed, it has nothing to do with that. You can have everything in life, a well paid job, a partner, etc, and still feel empty.

Feelings don't need adversity to exist. If you believe yourself to be in a situation of great worth than that is wonderful. To then judge your sadness with your happiness is unfortunate.

Privilege is relative--those who are considered underprivileged to some have many more privileges than others. Everyone, without exception, has the right to feel depressed.
