Don't push yourself too hard. Start small. Make lunch for yourself, listen to some uplifting music. Take small steps towards getting back into the swing of things :)

Everyday set 1 small goal for yourself. Reward yourself when you finish. Repeat until you feel like you can do 2 a day, then 3, then 4.

I try to motivate myself with things I like, for example if I have to do such and such for work or around the house, I then reward myself with an episode of a tv show I like. This gives me something to look forward to, and push myself on even when I have no motivation. I also try to break down tasks into smaller parts, which helps me feel like I've accomplishes more.

You can talk about it with someone. For example your family, friends, or listener. Sometimes everyone needs help of somebody else. You can't always do everything by yourself. Just talk to someone about your problems and feelings. It will help.

always remember why you do those things, for exemple you change you bed sheets because it makes you feel better while you sleep. Keep these things in mind, if you struggle to get yourself motivatet to change the bedsheets think about how nice and clean it felt when you changed the the last time. what can also help is to include others to your tasks... ask your friend to remind or even help you to do your loundry, it will somehow force you to do it and will be easier because they help you

Start from doing small things even if it's just having a little walk or going out to a shop every little thing helps you go from those small tasks to feeling motivated again. Time is a healer.

The thing about it for me is just starting. I know that, if I'm able to start to do what I need to, I'll just keep going until it's over. So I always focus on thinking that I'll feel better if do something, even little things and, if I'm able to start and avoid distractions, I'll probably get it done.

You can have a friend to help motivate you to complete simple tasks. You can brighten your mood by naming positive things that happen as the day or week goes by. Set a goal for yourself that you want to achieve.

Depression can put blinders on us and prevent us from seeing or feeling what matters. Admittedly the motivation is hard to find, but a lot of people seek support from those they care about because we are stronger for others than we are for ourselves. Motivation may come from not wanting to disappoint or hurt the people that we love or that love us.
If you find that this isn't enough, remember that you owe it to yourself to. The most simple tasks can even make us feel better, whether it's getting up and taking a shower or going to the grocery store to get what you need. Taking initiative and getting the ball rolling can sometimes be enough too. Remind yourself that you'll feel a bit better with each small step you take!
