For sure! To be honest, I wish I never went down the medication route, and just stuck with therapy as well as other helpful things (exercise, good diet, etc.) I would definitely try therapy for a while, and see if that helps. It can DEFINITELY be super effective if you're open to it, and try it for a few months. If you go to a therapist that you don't connect with or isn't super helpful to you, you can definitely try to find a new one. I had 2 therapists that weren't very helpful to me before finding my current therapist, who I love!

Yes, you can treat depression without using medication and therapy, on my own. It really depends on you, wakes up find something positive, talks to people, makes solutions for your problems, keeps your self busy,- go on a walk, hang out with friends, do something positive. Go to a group, it could be a share group or anything. Fitness and nutrition can help. Go and make yourself feel better. Do something other than think negative or unhappy, there's a lot you can do to treat your depression, But It all depends on you. You are the best doctor of you.
