@HaloCompany Doctors test and diagnose chronic pain by asking your level of pain..... based on a scale chart that goes from 1-10 1 being no pain to 10 extremely ready to go to the emergency room or Croke! This is a pain scale. Other ways to test is MRI or X-ray to check if the situation has gotten better or worse. Laboratory test to analyze blood, urine and or fluid from the spinal cord. Musculoskeletal or neurological exams to asses reflexes. My experience has been all of the above to test and diagnose my chronic pain. All over the course of many years.
