Yes! Pain affects everybody differently, but for most people, dealing with it on a daily basis takes a huge amount of mental, emotional and physical energy. Our bodies are constantly communicating about this pain and trying to heal it, and our brains are always processing this information in the background of our daily activities. Also, dealing with chronic pain isn't just coping with the pain itself, often we also put a lot of extra energy into thinking about how to do things that normal people can do. For example, someone with pain in their back has to put extra effort into considering how they will walk around, get out of chairs, walk up stairs, when they can sit down to rest, etc. These are things most pain-free people don't have to even consider. It can also affect our sleep patterns, either causing us to wake up more often, sleep in shorter cycles or just not get to sleep (often it is nicknamed 'painsomia'). So with all those added up, it is completely normal to feel tired, weak or fatigued when suffering from chronic pain.

No, not everyone will feel weak and tired when they are experiencing chronic pain. It is quite common though, as pain can interfere with sleep and it's stressful for the body. Other things may factor into fatigue and weakness symptoms as well; for example, some medications may have these symptoms as side effects. There's also the possibility that the underlying cause of the chronic pain leads to tiredness and weakness as well. Additionally, chronic pain can affect one for going about normal activities, so things like an altered diet due to pain symptoms, a lack of exercise and reduced movement in general can also contribute to weakness and fatigue.
