You feel like you want to cry bcause it's a natural response to being hurt. When someone says something harmful to you, your hurt. It's as simple as that.

because offensive words aren't nice to be used against a person therefore they hurt your feeling and your automatic response when hurt physically, emotionally and/or mentally is to cry!

This is quite the question.... Offensive words. let's change that term to bad words.. Why are words even bad.. did someone think of it then said it's bad? Is the word ''Bad'' itself, Bad? Defining bad words can be very hard because the answer will vary. However, us humans are built just like the inside of a cage. we are weak yet we are special. We are smart yet we make the most ridiculous blunders and why is that? It's because we're simply humans. Just saying that for a matter of fact PEOPLE offense PEOPLE it's us not the words. think of it when someone finds an annoying song yet he likes it. people decide if its annoying or not. We put the base meaning of ''annoying'' so the song becomes popular. who do we blame? The song.. BUT who should've been blamed? People. it's kind of hard to explain it but i'm sure you'll understand. Hope that answered that question

It's because words, like you said, hurt. That whole "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me," is just what we tell ourselves so it seems like it doesn't hurt as much as it does. Just hold your head up high an be true to who you are :)

Words are meaningful than actions. It's normal to feel hurt. But sometimes, you need to know if something is a joke or not :)

You may feel like crying when someone use offensive words to you because it made you think that you did something wrong or it's so direct that it triggered you to start crying.
