What's the difference between bullying and teasing?

There is a fine line between the two, teasing is when the person knows your trying to be funny and they're having a good time. Bullying is when they cross the line and your not having fun anymore. when you tease, your intention is to make you laugh a bit. when you bully, your intention is to do the person harm.

bullying is when only one side of the interactor feels happy, and the other feels uncomfortable. While teasing is when both sides are happy.

Teasing is related to humor, which usually contains on its caracteristics : incongruity, an unexpected future or a pleasant surprise. Bullying is related to repetitive and humorless quotes or attacks to a person. A lot of the times, the bully is trying to impress others with his alleged humor, but doesn't have the required ability to.

Bullying is when it is no longer 'just a joke' generally resorting to violence or ganging up on an individual. Bullying can come in a range of different forms and is all has the purpose of making the individual feel useless, teasing on the other hand can be done in a joking manner and won't last long in a general sense.

Despite common belief, there is a difference between bullying and teasing. Teasing is simply making fun of another, and bullying is a power imbalence WITH a much more severe form of teasing.

Teasing is something that is much less serious then bullying. Teasing is something that many people do to each other, just to kid around. Bulling, however, is much more serious and usually targets one, or several people.

Bullying means hurting people when they have done absolutely nothing physically or verbally. Teasing means making people jealous of you about everything
