I have what I thought were friends at school and what started out as teasing turned into me asking for them to stop and they laughed and pressed harder, and it’s really having an affect,any help?

We have all been bullied sometime in our life. The best thing to do is to separate yourself from them and let an adult know what’s going on and how it’s upsetting you.

First of all they are bullies.They will always try to put you down because you give them a reaction in return. And that makes them coming for more. Let's say they tease you and could see you being visibly uneasy, they keep doing it until they figure out your breaking point. But it's really on how you handle them that would change things. There are a few things they love to feed more on for example discomfort, tears and sometimes violence. You should show them that they don't affect you. That their words mean nothing to you. Use a proper unwavering tone when you talk, like you are confident... Tease one of them back... Laugh along with them in a cocky way... these actions piss them off... and also would give a "don't you dare mess with me" vibe. Don't let anyone walk over you buddy. You have the same rights as them just remember no one is privileged or is entitled to walk over you.
