Try focusing on the things you like about your life. Think about the people you love and why you like having them around you. Even small things are good to focus on.

I would recommend for you to try and confront your fears and worries head on. If you have a certain aspect of your life that you aren’t happy with, be it a job, school work, social abilities (or lack thereof), attempt to seek out help from others who are willing to help you. Good examples of this are teachers, TRUSTED (cannot stress this enough) friends, family, etc... Also me! And other listeners here on 7 Cups. We’re here on this site for the sole purpose of helping people which are struggling. Don’t worry, we’re here to help you! Have a good day/night/whatever :)

You can stop think about running away from your life through with a few of these thoughts: What are you really running from? Do you think that when you run away you'll find yourself? Maybe you think you'll soon find the life you dream about after running away. But there's an easier, more legal way to go about this. Where are you going to run to? The life you want? But what if you would make the life you want to run away to, your actual life, by staying put. This can start as a few small things. Rerranging you room, getting different clothes. Becoming the person you want to be. Then you can change who you want to be around. Your friends, peers, classes. Just become someone completely different, someone, you love. And by the end of your journey, you have found a different life. A better one. The one you wanted to run away to all along. You just had to find it. Because it always was inside of you.
