How do I learn to work alongside someone who has bullied me at work?

Being Bullied is always a horrible experience, at any age, but after the bullying is initially 'sorted' (reported, etc. stopped) it may be difficult to work around this person and be civil to them. For me, I found it helpful to sympathise with this person, and to try and understand what caused them to be a bully in the first place. I'm not suggesting that you befriend them, and no one would blame you for holding a strong grudge, but maybe being the 'bigger person' (so to speak) might be more rewarding for you. And also, it's always nice when people think good of you for taking the mature, and open minded resolution to the problem.

Just ignore the fact that they bully you. In my opinion you should be nice to them and treat them like anyone else, just to prove you are the bigger person. Don't let their attitude get you down. The best way to get back at a bully is to not let them affect you.

Just ignore them. If you don't show then that they are bugging you they will eventually leave you alone.

Well in my case its school we have had alot of fights but we seem to become friends on the end no matter what

Firstly, if someone is bullying you at the work place, you must tell a manager/boss/higher up. They are there to look after everyone's well being and they want you to come to them with any problems you encounter, in this case, a coworker. Also, the best thing you can do is to just continue on with your work day like nothing has bothered you. Be happy as can be. After a while, he will see that what he is doing is not affecting you in any way and he will stop. People like that just want a reaction out of you, they want to seem like they are greater than you. Just don't stoop down to his level. Just ignore it if your boss does nothing about it. It is not right for that to be going on but in the work place, it is just best to ignore it.

Bullying is the worst expression a human can show to someone. It symbolises how fragile is human heart that he has to bully for the sake of fun. The best way to work this thing is to talk to some senior about this or the boss at the work and ask about security. Moreover, try talking to the bully in a calm attitude. If the bully shows no cooperation, you may try some dirty tricks like teaching him a lesson. Or maybe you can do the opposite, like you can help the bully in need, and then try becoming his friend. It can be really hard at first, but it turns out nice in the end.

Be kind to them, even if they are not kind to you. Ignore their jabs or whatever else they are doing to bully you. Remember that you are amazing and don't listen to anything negative they say about you.

Its important to put the past in the behind when and if the circumstances allow; overcoming such bullying is admirable and courageous and deserving of acknowledgment; you are powerful, strong and capable of standing up for yourself. Its important to be in touch with these inner qualities in an effort to function appropriately in a work setting, specifically; represent yourself correctly and with honor and discipline; be the bigger person always.

If he is your boss, say nothing and stay silent. He/She will feel bad one moment or the other. Often, bosses bully because they are stressed. If they notice that you still do your job trying to be better, they will feel compassion and bring you closer. That is a tip that Even Og Mandino recommends. A very sucessful man.
