How do I know it is not just my fault? If I were more normal, maybe the bullies would leave me alone.

It's hard to believe, but it's not your fault. If they didn't pick on you, they'd pick on someone else. The fault lies with them and their issues, not you.

Bullies will always find a reason to bring you down, and make you feel bad about yourself. You did nothing wrong, the bully has something wrong with them self.

No, bullies are bullied based on their own insecurities. There is nothing wrong with you for being bullied.

No, it is not your fault. Bullies are usually the ones searching for attention and hurt others because they themselves are hurt... it is their way of dealing with hurt/fear/depression etc... it is not the right way to deal with it though, so they need to be reported so they could be helped.

It's the bullies who aren't normal, not you! Being bullied is never anyone's fault. You have to stand up for yourself and not worry about what others think about you!

Unfortunately, bullies often project their own failings on to other people because they seriously lack self esteem. It is important to keep this in mind, as it helps to understand why they behave that way.
It is also important to remember that normal is a subjective term, that is relatively meaningless. After all, what is normal? In your experience - you are normal. In my experience, I am normal.
Self worth cannot be determined by the opinions of others, as we have no control over the actions of others - but - we can control how we respond to their actions. You can choose to let their behaviour impact you - or you can choose to respond to it in a way that best works for you.
