First of all, if you're being bullied, never blame yourself because it is in no way your fault. You should be proud of who you are. The best thing to do is to talk to a parent/teacher/adult/counselor about your problem.

It is hard and it depends on the situation. You'd rather fight yourself (I assure you that once you face them and state that you are strong and you are not afraid, they will stop.) or tell your parents to help with. When I was younger I suffered bullying. It stopped the same day I stood still and hit the bully myself. I wasn't strong and I was SUPER afraid, but it worked out well. They kept laughing at me in my back, but never again they came face to face and tried to hit me or insult me. My brother is suffering bullying right now and he is facing it different, he told our parents and my mother herself is making the bullys get out of the school, one of them is now jailed in a foster home or kind of because of drug-dealer. There are only two options: You face it or you ask someone else to help you face it; OR you deal with it until the very end.

This is something everyone says, but ignore it. Simply ignore it, cause your response can be what triggers the bully. Tell your teachers or parents. Something will get done if you speak up about it.

Coping with bullying starts with the belief that its not actually making a difference and disconnecting from its effects. Bullying often hurts simply because of embarrassment. I found that believing that it would eventually stop, not reacting and not caring what anyone else had to say or think made it stop effecting me and eventually stop it all together, for no reaction made them get bored. if you are still at school or college there are Staff/ pastoral Assistants there to help you get through and stop bullying. If you are in work HR and Family are the next best people to talk to resolve and help you cope.

You don't have to cope alone. You can contact any listener on 7Cups, you can report it to your school's staff members - they are required to help you and have a care of duty over you, and your parents. There are organisations available too that can offer you support.

Usually it vastly depends on the experience. It is best that you tell an adult as soon as possible, and especially if it starts to become out of control. You want the bullying to stop immediately, and that is the best way to do so.
