I think messaging them first to see why they bully you might be the best thing, because it is hard to confront someone face to face at first.

This is a difficult question and the kind of situation that even if you know what you have to do, it's hard to put it into practice. From my experience you have to change your relationship with him. It is clear that he has a problem of his own, so you could try to talk to him and ask him directly and with no hard feelings what is bothering him about you, why is he behaving the way he does to you. Tell him that he is hurting you really bad.

Be direct. A bully once made fun of me for frizzy hair and eventually tried to fight me. I fought back. Make sure they know that you are in control of you and your happiness. Be direct but cautious.

Of course you can! It's all about strength. Not physical, mental. Confront your bully in a way that gets your point across. Avoid physical confrontation.

Sometimes you may just need to overcome what they are saying or doing to you. This will help you gain confidence to confront them without them getting in your head while doing so. Just remember it is never a bad thing to ask for help. So if you feel like you need help from someone around you, ask them.

Don't react. You cannot confront your bully in any other way. If you react, your actions will end up being used against you. If there's anything in physical form, you have to immidiately report to concerned authorities.

You can confront bullies by letting the bully know your hurt by their actions and telling them to stop and it's not right to do and if that doesn't work getting an adult to intervene.
