If you ended on a bad breakup it would be obvious as to why he is ignoring you or dosen't want to be friends as it would be awkward. If you ended civil then I would be concerned as to why he isn't talking to you.

you see, sometimes it's not easy forgetting the fact and once you face reality that you cant be with that someone in the same way as the past, It can be hurtful so we usually avoid the package altogether to help mend on the inside.

He might be ignoring you because he's hurting and wants to get over you. After all, the best way to get over a breakup is to avoid contact with your ex so that you don't think about them. Or he's just rude and wants you to feel bad about the bad about the breakup. Either way, you should be focusing on yourself right now and not your ex.
