Because you cant call the person you love, "yours" anymore. And you still have feelinhs for them, and you don't want to let them go.

Because you really feel love for that person. But when love ends, non sense to be with that person. Love is a thing of two. Get over it, I promise :)

It hurts because maybe that person made you really happy and you had lots of great moments with them. So it hurts that that person is gone.

breaking up hurts so much because you had trusted this person to always love and be there for you. Relationships are hard work and if you are not ready for it emotionally it can wreck both you and the other person. Ending a relationship with someone we care about can hurt.

Relationships, like savings are an investment. You have given a lot of time and emotional commitment into this relationship with the expectation that it will grow and mature. When you break up with someone it is a life change and is very stressful and hurts initially but we have learned to adapt and evolve as humans, as hard as it is at the beginning.

A lot of the time we fail to forget that the reason it hurts to separate and take different routes might be because we created all these wonderful memories that we shared with one special important. Whether we learned to laugh, learned to cry, learned to fly, learned to let loose, learn to act silly along side someone who we held very near to our hearts.

Breaking up hurts so bad because you get used to people. You get used to thought of having someone make you feel special and worthy. Then when you don't have that feeling anymore because the person is no longer a part of your daily life. So then our feelings get hurt because we never thought it was possible to not have what you once had that made you happy.

Maybe because we believe that we are going to be with that person for the rest of our lives. Maybe because they say the right thing at the right time and they are always there when you need them to be. Maybe because they are or were your best friend.

You spent so much time with one person, becoming their best friend, becoming their potential soul-mate. You invested your heart. You invested your time. You invested your emotions. It hurts because you're human, and you cared about the individual.
