There could be a lot of reasons why someone would just stop responding to your text messages out of nowhere. He/she could be busy. Maybe they don't know what to say or how to reply. Or they may feel like they don't have to answer. It doesn't always mean that this person doesn't want to talk to you. Just have patience and give that person time or if you're up to it, ask them why.

He could have stopped because he didn't feel any connection or because he got tired. Others stop responding because of low self esteem, they feel they are not good enough and just back out

Have you tried imagining yourself as him receiving your texts and why he might not be responding? Have you sent him many texts? Do you think that he might be busy and get back to you later?
