Why can't people love me for me?

Because most people have unrealistic expectations towards others. They imagine how a person should be like and they do not care to see who the person actually is.

This people are blind, they can't see who uou really are. They are fake. The true people are comming;)

People can and do love you for being you. Love is possible for everyone, including you, whether or not you believe it. You're just around the wrong people. When you find the right people who do love you, you'll know it.

People can love you for being you, the real people in your life will love you for being you. Forget the people who want to change you. No one should ever change you!

you should love yourself as yourself first ... and not care for others, then you will find the people who love you for who you are. :)

Actually, if you hate yourself and so do other people. Why? Because you are one of the people, you are the representation of the people and you yourself can answer that if you seek within the reason why. It's all about reflection. Do you love yourself and accept all your flaws and imperfections?

You have to accept yourself frist the way you are,believe and fight for it every day.You will surely get an identity for yourself.

I think when asking yourself this question you have to understand that, people do love you. They love you but sometimes it can be hard for us to expect that this love is unconditional. So we play games with ourselves and try to find the logic in how people can find beauty in our flaws. "You accept the love you think you deserve." Maybe, we should instead ask ourselves, 'why can't I love me for me?' To see if perhaps the problem we're facing is our own lack of self love, rather than the feeling of being unloved by others.

The people who love you in your life always love you for who you are, that is what the definition of love is. But if you think some of them don't love you for who you really are then it means that they don't know you. So either give them a chance to know you or show them who you really are. Its always the people who love you that matter the most. :)
