People can and do love you for being you. Love is possible for everyone, including you, whether or not you believe it. You're just around the wrong people. When you find the right people who do love you, you'll know it.

I think when asking yourself this question you have to understand that, people do love you. They love you but sometimes it can be hard for us to expect that this love is unconditional. So we play games with ourselves and try to find the logic in how people can find beauty in our flaws. "You accept the love you think you deserve." Maybe, we should instead ask ourselves, 'why can't I love me for me?' To see if perhaps the problem we're facing is our own lack of self love, rather than the feeling of being unloved by others.

The people who love you in your life always love you for who you are, that is what the definition of love is. But if you think some of them don't love you for who you really are then it means that they don't know you. So either give them a chance to know you or show them who you really are. Its always the people who love you that matter the most. :)
