The best way to do this is showing him that you’re doing just fine without him and your happy. Revenge can be sweet but sometimes it’s better to be bigger than the situation and not stoop to a low level by acting out maliciously. If you can show him that your life is better without him and that your doing better without him then that will drive him crazier then anything. Kill them with kindness :)

Be confident and know your worth. Figure out if there’s still a chance and what you really feel. Be honest with your feelings and know when to stop. If you know that he’s with someone else already, set aside your feelings and just try to be happy with them. But if there’s not, approach him, chat him, make him feel comfortable with you again. Know what he feels, be there always, and be a friend whom he can trust and talk everytime. Erase the thought of getting him back, and just go with the flow. It it’s you, it’s you.

I think you need to focus on yourself first, if it's over something happened and maybe both need to improve self-love or confidence first before trying to love someone else. So I think you don't need to ask yourself how to get you ex back but ask yourself how can I love myself, learn to live alone and love life that way, creating independence. You can live a life without a man or a boyfriend. And I know it can be difficult to learn how to let go of someone who shared a life with you, but sometimes is for the best.
