I've been in this situation before when I suddenly didn't feel like I love my "gf" but I told her that and maybe the best thing was that I should have broke up with her even tho she might have been hurt because you don't deserve to be with a person who can't love you also he might just now see you as a really good friend and doesn't want to lose you? But in all honesty, I would recommend breaking up instead of staying in a relationship where you know that you wouldn't get necessarily loved the way you might be loving him...
