Talk about hobbies, personal life, favorite things, (books, movies, foods, etc.) or anything else you'd like to share or know from your partner.

Anything and everything! Ask him little questions you wouldn't think to ask. Like what his childhood was like or his favorite Pokemon or things like that! It doesn't have to be deep conversations all the time.

I recommend talking about your lives! Your interests, how your day has been, etc. It's important to feel comfortable talking to your significant other, whether it's about deep stuff like insecurities and fears or just mundane, light stuff!

You can talk with your partner on the subjects that interests you both and share about your day. Consistent and open communication will help you maintain a strong bond in a long term.

Anything and everything as long as you stay safe. Sharing anything that you might regret later is always a bad decision, but this should never apply to emotions. Being emotionally available is one of the best things you can do in a relationship.

Theres always so much you can talk about with your S.O
Obviously the first easy small talk ones, e.g how was your day, how are you etc.
You could do questions to find out more about each other, e.g favourite breed of dog, favourite ice cream flavour etc.
Remember if they're your S.O conversation should naturally flow, so don't overthink it!

You can talk about the things you've done since you've been apart, or talk about things you'd like to do together. Ask his opinion on recent events, or what he thinks of certain people. Since its new years its a good time to consider talking about all the plans you're going to make in the new year, maybe you want to plan a trip together, or go to a concert, or build a robot. It sounds lame but the only limit is your imagination.

Shows, movies, intimate things, ask how his day went, anything works really. Just be open!! That way he will have more ideas to come and talk to you about.

If you're having trouble with knowing what to talk about with your boyfriend, perhaps try picking a random object/thing or scenario and discuss how you feel about the object/thing or what you'd do in the scenario. It may sound funny, but the funnier it is the more enlightened the conversation can get. Try to think of interesting life stories, too. Those have a way of engaging both people to share their stories! Have fun, feel comfortable, and be honest. :)
