There's never really any certain type of way to stop thinking about someone. Sometimes we can't control what/who we think about. The best way to try to stop is to let that feeling happen on it's own because I and/or other people could tell you ways that we feel is better for you to stop thinking about this one person, but that doesn't mean that it's going to work you just have to let it happen on it's own.

The thing is one cannot stop thinking about someone consciously. Repeating 'Don't think about him/her' to yourself actually means that you are thinking about that someone. Firstly, you need a distraction. It should not be an one time thing. The distraction might be making a new friend or getting a new hobby or even as simple as listening to music. The key is to keep yourself busy. Choose any activity and try it out with all your heart. If that doesn't work out, don't feel low. Go for another activity. But don't be too quick to jump over. Give it some time and your dedication. During all these process, be in love with yourself and believe that you are the best. Also, you gotta be patient. These things take time. Eventually, you will feel better and do have some hope. Cheers!

Immerse yourself in fun activities or activities you enjoy. Jam to music, take a bubble bath, ride a roller coaster, whatever you'd like! You'll be having so much fun that it will take you mind off them. You can also try deleting memories like pictures, text messages etc.
