It is totally fine to be single forever. However you may decide otherwise as you still go on living. But not wanting to be in a relationship is as normal as being gay is.

I believe it is okay to be however you like as long as it makes you feel good. But if you want to be "single" for the rest of your life, do have in mind the fact you are doing this for yourself and not for others. As long as we keep comparing ourselves or getting someone else's opinions on our choices we will constantly feel we are missing out on something.
