It all depends on who you are and what you want. I personally prefer complicated and passionate because it makes me closer to the person.

It all depends on what works for you. Some people find an exciting relationship keeps them and their partner on their toes and makes life more interesting. Others find a simpler relationship far less stressful. It also depends on the type of person you're with and how they make you feel. But at the end of the day you have to be totally comfortable in that relationship for it to work for you. Life is too short to be with someone that doesn't do that for you.

I depends on what circumstances make the relationship very complicated. Sometimes a simple relationship might not be something you want.

Well every relationship is different. It all depends on the people in that relationship, that make certain types better than others.

I believe that it's situational. If you're looking for a complicated, deep relationship that takes a lot of time and effort, go for it. But if you're just testing the water, maybe don't have the time for a passionate relationship, keep it simple.

The question posed is quite personal, It is like asking, "do you like apple or oranges?" There really isn't a right answer to this question...the answer will vary from person to person based on their relationship needs and desires. All three factors- passion, simplicity, and reason-are essential (in my personal opinion) in a relationship.

I believe it is better to be in a very complicated but passionate relationship, the reasons for complication should be reflected and can be worked on, from my own experience it can work if both sides genuinely want it. Being in a relationship based on a reason won't bring happiness in my opinion

I would rather say it is more better to be in a simple and passionate relationship. Any kind of relationships whether simple or passionate alone can experience conflicts and can be complicated. It just depends on the individuals involved how they're going to handle it. It is not easy, but with passion, love and the willingness of the individuals to solve a conflict they can get through whatever problems may come.

Depends on what you value. The more stable one is probably the simple relationship, though the complicated one may be stable as long as issues are worked out correctly. If passion is more your thing, and you don't mind a few complications, then the passionate relationship may work. But it can also be extremely stressful. The healthier one, most of the time (of the two listed), is the simple relationship based on reason. Relationships built on reason are, on average, more stable. Stable relationships are always a good thing to have.

It is best to be in the relationship you both want to be in. If one part of the relationship wants a very complicated relationship and the other wants a simple relationship you may want to talk about it with the other person in the relationship so that you are both on the same page. There is no “better†relationship and some relationship types could be better for others.
