Perhaps take some time to meditate on what the idea of relationship should encompass...is relationship suppose to be defined by the efforts of one person alone? Or should a healthy amount of give/take be present? Of course, there are grey areas and not everything is clear cut but...ultimately, a relationship cannot sustain itself with one person doing most of the work. Especially if the love is going one way. It is okay to feel what you are feeling. It's normal to feel this way, especially if you invested a lot into the relationship. Although in life there are no clear cut answers

If love is not being reciprocated then what is the point of being in that relationship. Feeling alone and depressed after such a life changing decision is understandable and life goes on. Yes need to find ways to move on and fill that feeling of void inside. Choices made are never right or wrong but made in the given circumstances, so what feels wrong now, in time may have been the best decision. Feelings of alone and depression are like knocks on doors, so unless we open the door we will never know what is knocking. After all behind the door may awaiting new opportunities for life.

I don't think you didn't make a wrong choice, if you weren't being loved or appreciated then you have every right to end the relationship! Why stay in a relationship that is one sided? That could overall have a toll on your mental health more than a break up can. You deserve better! Hope you are feeling okay.
