I dont think there's an exact frame of time to get over someone, but i do think when situation are very recent its normal it hurts, and its normal you just want to get over it as soon as possible, but somehow you need to "mourn and grief" after break ups or divorce, cry if you need to, scream if you need to, but move on, there are a lot of places and new faces waiting to meet you!

Depends on how much you loved that person. It took me almost 2 years to get over my first love. I think that is the longest time of my life :) But I am confidently happy with the outcome. I am much more braver and stronger than I used to be.

it takes some people quicker than others...but it depends on how intimate or how much u loved them. im still healing from someone i broke up with. and it has been 5 years. i have moved on but not emotionally.

This is a tough question to answer, because everyone is different. It also depends on the situation and why the relationship ended. Who did the breaking up? Was it mutual? Did the relationship end on good or bad terms? How long was the relationship? All of these questions effect you and how long it will take you to get over someone. Everyone heals differently, it all depends on you.

it honestly depends. On the length of the relationship, how intense the feelings were, etc. You WILL get over it eventually it just takes time to heal. Keep your head up and remember you're the main character, not them and you don't need them to be happy.

How long is a piece of string? I read that it takes half the time of the length of the relationship to get over someone. Personally, we all move on in our own time and in our own way. Don't put pressure on yourself to move on quickly and likewise, don;t beat yourself up if you get over them straight away.
