How long does it take to get over someone?

It can take a long time to get over someone, weeks, months, years even. But even when we think we have "gotten over" them the truth is that we have just accepted that our path with them has ended.

The internet says it takes one half the time you dated to get over someone. Though it does not account the varying degrees of love. If you truly loved someone you'll never completely get over them no matter how hard you try. The only way to win is to not let it swallow you whole and live your life to the fullest.

There is no simple answer to this question. There are many things that are a factor,for example how long you have been together,what the reason for the break up was, what kind of a relationship it was, how much you loved each other. To get over someone takes the time it takes,all you can do is try to do things that you enjoy and that make you happy and once day you will notice that it doesn't hurt as much as it used to

There is no set time. There are too many factors, how long you were together, the depth of your feelings, etc. Getting over someone just takes time and if you are wanting to move forward and doing what you can to support yourself in moving forward, then the process will happen naturally.

As long as it takes for our heart to heal and be able to love again. Sometimes it`s with a new love, sometimes we just find joy in other things in life that may be able to help us get over someone.

It just depends on the situation . if u actually have feelings after the break up .. You'll take a bit of time. But usually you feel sad and you're back with a big bang ❤ Stay strong

Depends on how strong you are and how the you feel about them if ts hate it will be easy if its lost will take some time to build up your mind and achieve strength

The average time is 3 months, but it depends on the person and the relation. Maybe it will need 2 years, maybe 1 month. The thing is, we always get over someone one day. It will happen when you'll be ready

Their is no measurement as to how long it takes. It all depends on the person you are and the person you were with, everyone reacts to break ups differently so take all the time in the world.
