well it depends because if you guys just went out and you guys broke up it could take a day or 2 but if you was dating for a year or more it would take about a year or more to get over them

Apparently half the length of the ex-relationship.
It is definitely frustrating when you can't seem to get over your ex or things that happened in the relationship. Give yourself time to grieve over the death of the relationship, and remind yourself why the relationship ended. Time can only tell for this, but your thoughts are definitely a huge factor in this process.

Statistics say it takes the same length of time as how long you were being them. I think that's not true. It's so hard to get over someone that you really loved so much. But once you do you'll feel so great and wonderful why you spent so much time on them.

There's not really a specific answer.I guess its based on how much you loved them. But you will get over them, One day you'll wake up and realize that you can go through life without them by your side. You were okay before they came, you'll be okay even if they're gone.

Everyone needs different length of time to get over someone. Don't fight your feelings, talk about your feelings, remember that moving on is the end goal and remind yourself that you still have a future. You'll eventually get over that person.
