Keep busy and remember that unless they are married, there is always a chance you could still have to be with them. The thing is that it also helps to be grateful you met them. That is the best thing. Just be grateful that you met and be grateful that things are going well in your life, despite the seemingly loss, which at this point is not a loss of anything but a gain. A gain of wisdom, for having met and learned what it is like to meet and enjoy someone wonderful from afar. Then with that wisdome comes the unique ability to seek out a better companion based the the qualities you saw in that person. Seek better for next time, for now, work on yourself.

It can be hard to get over someone you never officially dated but remember that it is okay to be sad and upset. Continuing your days is good, avoid staying in and re-reading old text messages and or pictures. Avoiding checking in on them on social media cut the connection, can help as well, distracting yourself with school, friends, family, tv shows or anything you enjoy doing. Putting your thoughts on other things will help distract the emotions, it takes time and it hurt but it will get better stay strong and confident rebuild yourself by working on yourself.
