Communication is very important in relationships and the simplest way to communicate anything is for all parties involved in the relationship to be open and accept the openness of the other parties. What has been communicated in the question itself is what can be communicated in the situation of the question.

Simply tell them that though they haven't done anything wrong but you realised you don't feel the love for them..dont tell them they deserve better.. That willl make them feel worse.just be honest as they deserve it..just tell them you don't love them without any fault of theirs

Be straight forward but not too harsh. Remember to be sensitive of his/her emotion. Explain everything.

You have to remember that being with someone that you don't have feelings for is not fair to them, if they never have done something wrong that means that they do not deserve to be let to invest any more in a relationship that the feelings are mutual

You don't have to have a reason to break up or you could have any reason, you do you man. Sometimes things don't work out, and that's okay. First, you'd want to tell them they haven't done anything wrong, they will probably think that if they were different things would have worked out so you'll want to stress that they haven't done anything wrong. If it isn't working out now, it isn't going to work down the line. Be considerate and kind, no one likes breakups and it's important to stay respectful. Be honest, tell them you do not feel the same way as you did. Maybe the spark the two of you had has burned out, and you've tried to reignite it but it didnt work out.

Things can be said in many different ways. One such way is- "Please know that what I am about to say has nothing to do with you but everything to do with me, I highly regard you as a person but no longer feel the same as I once did, I am terribly sorry as I do not wish to bring you sadness, but to be honest with you in every way, It is my desire that you find your one true mate without any more delay, it has been my pleasure knowing you and I wish you the very best. You are a most delightful person, a warm caring individual with which anyone would desire to be acquainted , I thank you for the time I was blessed to have known you, go in peace and remember me as having been a kind and generous friend one who intends to do no wrong but wishes only to do good."
