Its not something you can just stop!! You have to feel it and work through it. Learn to love YOU. You ex doesn't make you who you are although they may have been a huge part of you!

You push yourself to want more for yourself. You do stuff or hang out with people who make you happy, you distract yourself, pick up new hobbies, do stuff to have you not think about them and want them.

You will never forget your ex, the memories will stay and you should cherish them all. They were not a mistake they were a lesson and you'll find the one when the time isn't right. Do activities you enjoy to get them off your mind. Hangout with friends and family and make yourself happy first. Heartbreak doesn't go away fast but you will be okay again.

Throw away or delete everything related to him and stay away from things that reminds you of him. And whenever someone takes out his name just shake your head and move away from them or ask them to talk about something else. Just put it in mind that you deserve someone better so it happened for a reason. And stay positive. :)
