Surround yourself with non-judgemental positive people and they'll teach you how to trust. Kind people don't want to hurt anyone and in time you'll realise that they're not going to use your secrets or insecurities against you. And learn to take risks. Regaining trust is difficult and sometimes it requires going a little out of your comfort zone. Share little pieces of information even if you hesitate, make sure the stuff you share isn't very harmful if you're really nervous. Start by taking small steps.

Sadly there are times in our lives that we put hope and trust in someone that does not deserve it. After getting hurt by this people we realize that it hurts too much to go through it again that we protect ourselves.
