Someone who has once cheated could possibly lose interest easily. If he lost interest of his girlfriend of you, he might do the same to you. It is a sad and difficult cycle, but it is best avoided when you find someone who truly cares for you first.

He is probably feeling massively guilty. You may have to just come to terms with the fact that even though me may have cheated on her with you, he may want to stay with her. Its really a hard thing to go through and you deserve to be with somebody who can give themselves to you without guilt.
