I do not often talk to myself aloud while in public, but I do this in my car sometimes, and definitely when I am really concentrating. I think it helps keep my brain more organized. It is also a way for me to vent my frustrations at times. I'm not sure that means I am on the spectrum, but it is a little bit quirky. I have a feeling lots of people do it, but not everyone is willing to openly admit it. But that's just my personal opinion. I do not know why you asked this question, but if you do talk to yourself out loud, you are not alone!
I suspect I am autistic, but my mum won't let me see someone about it. What do I do?
