This is a completely normal thing to be worried about. Jobs can be quite stressful. Sometimes, it can be useful to pinpoint what exactly is causing this worry. Sometimes, this is something we can control and sometimes, this is something we can't. If this is something you can control, you can consciously try to change this. For example, you could be getting worried about being fired because you worry about how well you perform. It can help to reframe these thoughts of worry and tell yourself you are trying your best or that you are competent. If you feel like you aren't trying your best, you can consciously try to get feedback and figure out how you can do better. In other cases, it can be something you can't control like your boss not liking you or you not getting along well with a supervisor or budget cuts in the company. In cases like this, you might end up being fired. This is not in your control. To aid with worry about this, you can have a back up plan in case this happens. Something like having savings or knowing where to look for a new job might be helpful.

Hello, I'm sorry you are in a negative place of inner turmoil centered around your job. Your feelings are validated. Worry over occupation is normal as it is a cornerstone to our safety and, therefore, well-being in life; our jobs provide us with financial stability, and at times (with insurance agreements, and things such as pension) other areas of stability as well. This must be a difficult time for you. Perhaps we can go over some thoughts that will allow us to look over what you are feeling, and why you are feeling that way, and that might help to overcome these feelings. 1. Is there something you are doing that makes you believe you are getting fired? 2. Are you negatively fortune telling? If so, how can you confront these with true thoughts? 3. What are some mind relaxation techniques (ex. meditations, diaphragmatic breathing, thought checking) that work for YOU specifically? It might be helpful to take it one day at a time. Implement mind relaxation techniques, and show up to your workplace with a ready to go attitude, and perseverance to overcome whatever may come your way. Try to do the best you can each day, and realize that whatever happens in the future you are strong enough to overcome! Have a wonderful day.
