Short answer: Maybe.
It all depends on how you approach your anxiety. If you just try to avoid situations that make you anxious you won't get used to those situations which might cause even more anxiety.
But on the other hand if you try to beat your anxiety by experiencing that exact situation making you anxious you will learn how to handle it and you might beat anxiety.

Anxiety is something that you need to work at. I'm not going to say it's something to get rid of, but there are a number of different techniques and exercises you can practice actively in your every day life to make things seem more approachable and possible. For example, deep breathing, meditation, yoga, reading, colouring, anything that calms you.

Maybe. Anxiety is a normal thing, everyone has anxiety. The key is to control your anxiety level. Always focus on the positive. If you feel like your anxiety level is high, take a moment and breathe, close your eyes and just continue to breathe. Once you feel relaxed, continue on with what you were doing. All things will be accomplished no matter how difficult things may be.

I think "go away" is a loose term. People say that some anxiety is good for you, and I don't think anyone will ever be without any aspect of anxiety. However, it IS a real possibility that your anxiety will become less severe, and/or that you will find ways to cope or deal with the anxiety, therefore making it less of a burden on your life. It might take a lot of time and effort and dedication, but I believe in you! I wish you the best!

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
