Yes I am hopeful that it will, however I have so much ingrained fears and unnessesary worrys built up by my alienation from people and distrust of most of my friends which is not without due cause.

I cannot answer that for you, that is entirely up to you. I believe you are strong. I don't think it is entirely about the question: "Will my anxiety go away?" and I understand that with this disorder it can be very difficult but "Can I fight my anxiety?" I know you can do it, I believe in you.

Sure it will. You just need the right way to approach it. Try with self-help books, and then maybe see a professional if it still remains.

Yes, once you can get to the root source of your anxieties, be it fear of judgement, lack of experience or any other reason; you can help overcome these sources or at least reduce your anxiety from them which will in time help you overcome it altogether.

Anxiety is "a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome", To effectively deal with that worry and unease, we can do various things, from changing our automatic thoughts process which may be teaching us irrational worris, to simply accepting a situation.
So simply, with the right treatment, anxiety can be effectively dealt with, but perhaps not cured. A lot of people always have signs of anxiety, no matter what treatment they have, but learning to cope with and deal with worries is incredible, because it can help you stop anxiety from interfering in day to day life.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
