Some people are wired that way, chemically, and others just simply can't stop thinking as fast as they do.

You're over-thinking things. You need to try to control your breathing. Take deeper breathes. Get a pen and write down what is going on in your head that's making you think too fast. Go a step deeper everyday asking why you think you are thinking these things. Eventually, you will hit an "ahah" moment.

My brain will never slow down because I always make it occupied with active and productive brain activities. Reading, learning a new skill/language, playing a musical instrument and writing makes my brain work at a consistent and steady speed which progressive increases as the volume of these activities increase.

It may caused from lots of things.Do you eat healthy ? If you don't your brain can't get enough energy to work and you may start thinking slowly. Also if you try to think lots of things at the same moment your brain will get tired ! And also if you feel anxiety or experiencing some emotions it may affect your brain too.Just take care of yourself ! That's the only thing matters

Your brain might be working overtime because some things just haven't had the closure that you are looking for. Try taking deep breaths and tackle one thing at a time, that might help your brain and you to relax.

Possibly because there isnt enough going on to slow things down. From experience, doing things im.passionate about goes a long way when my mind is running a mile a minute.

The brain — the mind — never really stops chattering. That's what it does! I can't tell you why (I didn't make it). But I can tell you that practicing mindfulness meditation helps to calm the mind. Check it out and give it a go! Don't be discouraged if (when) you keep losing focus. That's the point. Just keep returning to the focus. Again...again...again...
Peace :-)

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
