Why now? Why, when I seem to be doing so good in life, do I suffer from this crippling anxiety now?

Anxiety is not based on so much on your environment as your reaction to your environment. Getting past anxiety is not an outward change, but an inward one. Anxiety is an internal problem that needs to be solved internally. If all seems to be going well in your life, try to figure out what is giving you anxiety, and focus on that.

Anxiety can affect a person even during the happiest times in life. It isn't anyone's fault, it's just how our brains sometimes work. I suffer from anxiety and even though I have a lot of loving people and accomplishments, I can't help but feel anxious sometimes. I suffer from panic attacks as well. It's important to know that your feelings are valid, and that your anxiety does not define who you are.

Anxiety isn't always caused by situations and is an illness just like any other health issue. It is unfortunate that you cannot decide when you get sick, but the best thing to do is learn how to deal with it. If you get strep throat when you have a big game coming up, what should you do? You should rest and recover so you can come back stronger for the next big game. If you have crippling anxiety when everything is going right, what should you do? You should focus on helping yourself now so you can succeed even more later.

Sounds like your brain is trying to give you inner doubt about yourself, or your worrying to much without realising .. Your doing so good in life maybe deep down your worrying things may go wrong. Just keep reminding yourself how great you are! How great you are doing and smile :-) hope this helps xxx

If you know the term "trial by fire", then you will understand why. You are like a piece of metal, as you get hammered and molded into who you truly are by these rough experiences, you come out on the other end completely unbreakable.

You need to understand the real situation and you have to think practically. You might feel that things are going wrong now. But if you are positive enough, then you will think that these all are great experiences for a better life.
