I believe, that the only reason why we get scared about our future is because we don't know what will happen. Because life is like a magic 8 ball, there are many options for it to pick but it picks a random answer. In life you can't make everything happen the way you wish it to, So you must help guide it that way you want.

It's human nature. We, humans, overthink a lot and it's not healthy. But you shouldn't worry though! Half of the time we expect things to go wrong, but as i said earlier, it's just human nature.

Ah, the fear of the great unknown. Nobody knows what the future holds, unless they are clairvoyant, which is more of a fictional talent than realistic. That fear of the unknown can be paralyzing to the anxious person! The important idea to remember is that nobody knows what their future holds. The best thing we can do is keep control over what is within our grasp and try to let go of worrying about what we have no control over.

We get anxious because we fear the worst and sometimes forget to hope for the best. Nothing is scarier than the great unknown, but keeping calm and planning with goals can help a person stress a little less about what's yet to come.

I think it is the fear of the unknown. As humans most of us like to know whats coming so we can prepare ourselves accordingly. I guess humans like to be in control of our lives so what we can’t see coming ultimately scares us and makes us feel vulnerable hence, leaving us to feel anxious

Because we are too afraid that we are not going to have a good life in the future and we are afraid of failing

The future is something that hasn’t yet happened, and we don’t know what will happen. Anxiety is fear based on “what-ifs” and the unknown.

I feel we get too anxious about our future's because it's completely unknown. There isn't any certainty in what the future will bring and it can cause us to become very anxious. Our jobs never feel 100% secure, family life can have ups and downs and personally our days can be affected by any event. Not knowing exactly what our future holds can cause lots of questions revolving around "what if"? The thoughts about how our current influences and efforts will effect our future makes it very easy to be too anxious in regards to our future. Change and uncertainty leads to anxiety.

It's completely natural to get anxious about our futures. Sometimes it feels like our entire childhoods are geared to preparing us for the future and the "real world". I can say that I'm experiencing that anxiety first hand! I'm going to be a high school senior this fall, and I still have no idea what I want to do with my life. More than ever, I feel the pressure to decide quickly, but I'm also scared that I'm not going to like what I choose. Especially in this day and age where academics and careers are so competitive, it's easy to get caught up with everything and feel inferior to others. Ultimately, our goal in life is to be happy, so it's important to realize that happiness can come in all sorts of forms. Although easier said than done, it's important to live in the moment and determine our own happiness in the present.
