Sometimes we can know things in our head, but not feel them or believe them in our heart. In our minds we can know something is true, but not want to accept it, or not feel it deeply because there is something else important going on in the background. It could be an unspoken competing belief, or it could be a desire to change the answer that we have in our minds. Either way, if you're panicking and things don't seem to make sense, it's worth asking yourself, "What is keeping me from having peace about this situation, since I already have an answer?"

It is a natural human reaction to fear the things we do not know; sometimes though, even when we know the answer it can be just a difficult to handle, especially if it isn't the outcome you would like. A mantra that has helped me during these times is this- "Can I change it? Yes? Then I don't need to worry about it. Can I change it? No? Then I don't need to worry about it."

Maybe it is because you feel powerless and the frustration overwhelms you. Having no control is a very difficult thing to get over.

Anxiety can change the way we think. Creating new pathways in the brain. When faced with the same or similar experience that pathway is used.

Even though something may be known it can still stress you out. For example a history finals exam, you may of studied really hard, and when you get into the room to take the test you have a panic attack, you know the answers but its still really stressful. Just because you know the answer doesn't mean it is not any less stressful.

Because when you panic you are in a stage of fear. And you don't k ow what else too think about but the fear that you are scared of. For example someone could be scared of the pain in their head and even know its just a head ache or stress. The person will always think it is some kind of cancer or even tumor. When we panic we fear the most scariest thought we can imagine. Some people get scared of bugs or may heights because they fear just that situation. And others fear of getting sick or dying some people can calm down and others just go in a circle over and over again.

Because the brain has a funny way of over thinking and scaring us for no reason. It is like a game your brain likes to play on you even though it isn't funny.
