Anxiety tends to come from a build up of many things going on in your life. Most of the time, my panic attacks happen in the middle of the night, not after a specific incident or encounter that would normally trigger my anxiety. It can be very hard to identify what sets off your anxiety when it seems to happen at random times, but it's important to track when you have panic attacks to try to recognize patterns so that in the future, you will know what to avoid or what makes anxiety worse.

This is how anxiety works. When you get anxious, I suggest clearing your mind. Listen to music, draw, meditate. Do anything to get your mind off of the anxiety.

Anxiety is mostly likely caused by some sort of trigger event that you may not even realize you are experiencing. Try to figure out what happens or what you are thinking prior to the anxiety in order to more accurately determine what that trigger may be.

You can have anxiety at random times because there may be certain triggers that set the anxiety off. For example, if someone is afraid of birds and that person sees an eagle, they will have a strong, anxious reaction. Some triggers are unrecognizable or very very subtle, though. It may be hard to pinpoint which triggers predict a strong anxious reaction.

Anxiety that occurs at random times often points to an anxiety disorder. However you should never self diagnose and therefore if you experience anxiety often for no reason you should first go to a professional instead of jumping to conclusions too quickly. That way you can be sure and get the help you need on how to deal with it.

In my case, i think is because i want to have everything under control, or at least, be able to do something about it. I don't mind having problems, but i want to fix them if so. And those times that you can't do anything, you are totally useless to fix something, that is what make me feel anxiety.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
